THE ACLC Taking Down the Cross

The American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) was established May 22, 2000 by Sun Myung Moon. It’s first project was to send 120 ministers to Seoul, Korea along with 30 participants from Japan. Towards the end of that conference there was a flag signing ceremony where all the ministers put their signature on the Family Federation Flag. After the signing Moon gave each of the ministers a solid gold watch with 30 diamonds in the middle of it. He then assigned them the mission of placing the Family Federation Flag in 144,000 churches.

Phase two of Moon’s plan for the ACLC was to have them remove the crosses from their churches. The March, 2003 newsletter of the ACLC had a cover story by “Archbishop” George Augustus Stallings explaining why he removed the cross from his church. The mass removal of the crosses was seen taking place on Easter 2003 when the ACLC sponsored a nation wide “Tear Down the Cross” and some 120 ministers did just that. May 18, 2003 Moon sponsored a trip for the ACLC ministers to Israel where they held a ritual burial of the cross in a shallow grave draped with Moon’s Family Federation flag. ACLC members are still being encouraged to remove the crosses from their churches.

Phase three of Moon’s plan is to have the crosses replaced by the crowns. This phase could not take place until after March 24, 2004 when Sun Myung Moon and he wife were Crowned king and queen in the Dirksen Senate Office building in Washington D.C. by some 80 Senators and congressman and many members of the ACLC. They were crowned king of peace, king of first and second Israel, which according to Moon is translated as king of America and Christianity. Thus the two crowns replacing the cross acknowledge the Moons as king and queen.

Any minister attending an event sponsored by Sun Myung Moon is in fact endorsing his teachings and are often listed on the Moon web sites and other publications to help recruit others to follow.

In is important to make those ministers aware of what Moon really teaches. From the very start of his teachings, Moon based his teachings that he was called by Jesus to finish the job that Jesus could not complete when He walked here on earth. Moon claims to be the True Father and his wife the true mother, both without sin. He also claims to be the king of kings, Lord of the Second Advent, Messiah, Savior of humanity and recently incarnate of God. It’s important to know some of Moon’s statements.

“I have inherited the mission and work, and succeed Jesus in his work. I am fulfilling what Jesus left undone.” (Sun Myung Moon, Unification News, November 1993, p.3)

“Today God’s word comes only through Father. If other people receive God’s word, that word is that Reverend Moon is the Messiah.” (Sun Myung Moon, Today’s World, January 1995, p.27).

“Until our mission with the Christians is over, we must quote the Bible and use it to explain the Divine Principle. After we receive the inheritance of the Christian church, we will be free to teach without the Bible.” (Sun Myung Moon, Master Speaks, #7, p.1)

“Abraham was the father of faith, Moses was a man of faith, Jesus was the son of man, trying to carry out his mission at the cost of his life. But they are, in a way, failures.” (Master Speaks, “Victory of Defeat”,” translated by Won Pok Choi, March 31, 1973, p.1)

Moon’s goal is a one world order where religion, politics and the social life of the world in under his control. Many Christians are not aware that Moon actually staged a marriage of Jesus Christ to a living Korean woman here in New York so that Jesus could enter heaven. Moon also claims that Jesus was just a man that Christians later after His death made Him their God.

Rather than taking down the crosses from the churches Christians need to take a stand and protect their faith from an antichrist who is seeking to remove it from them.
